At ProTek RC Sales, we’re all about high-speed action and peak performance, both on the track and in our service. We know you’re eager to get your gear, and we’re just as eager to make sure you’re 100% satisfied with it. This policy outlines how we get products to you and what to do if something isn’t quite right.

1. Shipping & Delivery Information

We ship globally (excluding some remote areas and parts of Asia). Our goal is to process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible so you can get back to building, tuning, and racing.

Order Processing Time: All orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment is confirmed. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.

Shipping Methods & Timelines:

  • Standard Shipping (DHL or FedEx): $12.95. Your order will typically arrive within 10-15 business days after it ships.
  • Free Shipping (EMS): Available on orders over $50. Your order will typically arrive within 15-25 business days after it ships.

Please note that these timeframes are estimates and can be affected by factors beyond our control, such as customs processing.

2. Our Return & Exchange Policy

We stand behind the quality of our high-performance RC products. If you’re not completely satisfied, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process within 15 days of you receiving your shipment.

3. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be:

  • Unused and in brand-new condition.
  • In its original packaging with all tags and accessories.
  • Accompanied by your proof of purchase (order number).

4. Non-Returnable Items

For safety, hygiene, and technical reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective or incorrect:

  • All Batteries (e.g., 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 6s LiPo batteries)
  • Air Filters and Body Reamers
  • Bearings and Brushless Motors that have been installed or used
  • Any product that shows signs of damage from misuse or tampering.

GOT A DEFECTIVE OR WRONG ITEM? Don’t worry! If you receive a faulty product or an incorrect item from us, contact us immediately at [email protected], and we’ll resolve it for you at no cost.

5. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to get started:

  1. Contact Us: Email our support team at [email protected] within the 15-day window. Include your order number and reason for return.
  2. Get Approval: We’ll respond within 1-2 business days with a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions. Do not ship your return without an RA number.
  3. Ship It Back: Securely pack the item in its original packaging. Clearly write the RA number on the outside of the box and ship it to:

  4. Inspection & Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange within 3-5 business days.

6. Refunds: Timelines & Methods

We’re racers—we like things to be fast. Here’s how refunds work:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • For Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB) and PayPal, please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be fully processed and appear in your account. The timing depends on your financial institution.

Note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. If your return is due to our error (e.g., we sent the wrong item), we will also refund the original shipping cost.

7. The Exchange Process

Need to swap a .21+ engine for a different one? Want a different set of 1/8 Scale Wings? The process is the same as a return. After we receive and approve your return, we will ship the new item to you. Standard shipping fees apply for exchanges unless the exchange is necessary due to our error.
